The NRP is a grassroots non-profit organization started in the wake of Hurricane Helene. We are dedicated to restoring the Nolichucky River and its tributaries which were severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. Our mission goes beyond cleanup, we are committed to educating the community and fostering active participation. Community involvement is vital for ensuring the long term health of our watershed which serves agricultural, commercial, and recreational needs. Together, through hands on stewardship and collaboration, we can build a sustainable future that not only protects but also enhances the rich natural resources of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
